lululemon: get in my closet gym bag! Lunchtime shopping is becoming a dangerous thing in my neck of the woods. Procured today [all on sale btw]:

flow y bra [mine- hot pink stripes] // excel crop // scoop neck tank [in aquamarine]

Is it just me- or does every other runner / athlete want to spend all the monies everysingletime they step foot in lululemon?

Lustworthy item of this week’s trip: this here Yogi tee. I practiced some snippet of self control though and opted for a much more sensible tank and pair of running shorts [I opted for a seafoam green, reversible pair]. What?! I didn’t say I was giving up shopping for Lent!

on workout gear [and new years resolution-ers]

I’ll be honest- I’m not a proponent of New Years Resolutions.

With the whole let’s join a gym and take all of the good treadmills and spin bikes from the workout regulars just to lose this motivation at the end of the month mentaility that most folks exhibit- I can’t say that I’m a fan.

However, this top would make the wait for my favorite machine just a little less excruciating…

if not slightly more fashionable

as would this jacket, these pants, and a headband [all to go along with my new tote— if anyone is keeping track]. Now that’s what I call dressing the part!

And to those of you that will steal my parking spot and my locker at O2 for the next 18 days- I hope that you at least TRY to stick with your resolutions this year.

what i wore [sunday 10k edition]

On Saturday, I finally got a [cheap] haircut. I then proceeded to the downtown Raleigh lululemon shop and purchased a new pair of running shorts. Said shorts cost more than my hair cut. 4 times more to be exact [sorry mom]. I rationalized said expense with the fact that I will wear these all summer long until they are held together by a single thread. Plus, nice black shorts are like nice black pants; they make your legs look thinner and your butt look smaller [what? I justify my spending in the most logical insane ways].

shorts: lululemon

tank: target

pink headband: lululemon [couldn’t resist. it’s neon pink, y’all!]

new tennies: mizuno

watch: Shark; neon blue and fabulous

And because you can’t tell in the picture, I feel the need to share that my socks are the same neon pink as my headband. Just for the record [‘cause I know you care]. Also, please don’t judge the fact that I’m not wearing one spot of makeup.
